Sustainability

We believe sustainability is fundamental to success. At Temecula Coffee Roasters, we are constantly monitoring everything we do to ensure efficiency and long term sustainability. All of our processes are designed to have as minimal an impact as possible. We not only invest in but actively participate in activities that offset our carbon footprint so that by 2024 our entire process will be net carbon neutral View project Every bag of coffee sold supports World Coffee Research a non-profit that assists farmers with the tools, knowledge and plants necessary to adapt to the changing climate. A majority of our retail products are shipped in compostable or recyclable packaging and most of our shipping materials are curbside recyclable!

Additionally, for each lb of coffee sold, we fund the planting of 1 tree through the 'Trees for Education Program', formed by the collaborative efforts of UNASDG, Imani's Board and Embu officials. After year 1, the tree is included in the program that leverages the International Carbon Market through the UNASDG. This funds children's education in Kenya and to date TCR has funded the planting of over 6250 trees.
