April Coffee of the Month, Q2 COTM list, Survey Reminder and Other News

We hope you had a great St Patrick's day!

Sales continue to be very strong.  If you are struggling with sales, please reach out and join our training sessions and end of month meeting.

If you have not done so, please complete the 'partner' survey we sent out.  If you did not receive the link, email us and we will send one.  The results of this survey are part of the decision making process for how programs and products are developed so be sure your get included.

A couple of notes from just a review of the early survey answers - we won't publish the results until the end of the month but a few things caught our attention.

1) We have Tea!! The most requested 'additional item to add to my site so far is "TEA"...it is already part of the program, you can add it at any time.

2) You CAN sell on Tik Tok.  Be sure you request permission (from Tik Tok) before listing food products.  There is a process to follow or you will be blocked.  All orders are shipping in compliance with the 3 business day requirement.

3) The coffee of the month program has been available for several years and any and all partners have access and most should probably offer it.  It does take some work to offer it but it is very worth it to provide unique lots in a monthly program.  You can also create your own coffee of the month in your store at any time.

April Coffee of the Month - Kenya PB

Region: Kirinyaga

Grower: Small Farms in the Baragwi Coop.

Altitude: 1600-1800 MASL

Soil: Volcanic Loam

Roast Level: Med Light

Notes: Berry, Cranberry, Ginger, Cinnamon.  Bright Acidity and Nice Balance.

Mt. Kenya, at the helm of Kenya’s Central Province, is the second tallest peak on the continent of Africa and a commanding natural presence. The mountain itself is a single point inside a vast and surreal thicket of ascending national forest and active game protection communities. The central counties of Kenya extend from the center of the national park, like six irregular pie slices, with their points meeting at the peak of the mountain. It is along the lower edge of these forests where, in wet, high elevation communities with mineral-rich soil (Mt. Kenya is a stratovolcano) many believe the best coffees in Kenya, often the world, are crafted.

Baragwi Farmers Cooperative Society has a farmer-elected board with members from each sub location. This great single Origin Peaberry is a prime example of the expertise involved in farming, milling and then grading that has made Kenyan Coffee some of the best in the world.
