Summer is here and cold brew season is in full swing.  Remember that around 20% of coffee sold will be cold brewed so be sure your August posts and customer emails include some cold brew info.

For August's meetings, we will begin our preparations for the Holiday seasons.  This goes beyond just scheduling your events and will include:

August 13th:  The Roasters Collective Meeting: Building Business Assets That Increase Trust - Each Collective member can request that their brand receive their Brand Trust Score and recommendations for improving their brand.  This uses a combination of our CBTAI - AI brand analysis and human review.

August 20th:  Monthly Topic Meeting: Tools available to improve brand credibility.  We will discuss the current Collective programs, WCR, Swiss Water® and our new Fairtrade® Organic certification program (coming soon).

August 27th:  The 10 Trust Signals Every Coffee Brand Should Have.

HONDURAS ORGANIC FINCA LIQUIDAMBAR YELLOW HONEY is produced by Roberto Rene González and milled as a single farm micro-lot at RAOS (Cooperativa Regional de Agricultores Orgánicos de la Sierra) where Roberto is a member and the general manager. Roberto and his family own a 37 acre farm called Finca Liquidámbar located in the community of Guascotoro within the municipality of San Jose in the department of La Paz, Honduras.

Roberto was one of the first in his community to earn a university degree. After graduating with a degree in business management, Roberto returned home to manage RAOS and to help his family run the coffee farm. Roberto is currently working to get 19 acres of his farm formally recognized as a biological reserve. The goal is for the reserve to become a destination for tourism in the area. Finca Liquidámbar provides year-round employment to 7 people and another 30 people during the harvest. Roberto, his wife Odalma and their two children partner with local schools and local organizations for road improvements and youth activities

Fulfillment Times on All Product Lines Are Currently Running 2–4 Business Days

We are continuing to experience record sales, so please be sure to plan ahead for all events and place orders well in advance. Please remember that expedited ordering is not currently available. While we do make rare exceptions when possible, brands should not rely on this, as moving orders ahead in production would be unfair to other brands already scheduled on the roast list.

As always, please don’t hesitate to contact us with questions or if you would like a quick review of your website or business plan to help strengthen and improve your coffee business.
