A couple of reminders

1) The all partner monthly meeting is the last Wednesday of the month.  This is next week -05/31.   We will be talking about the latest demand survey and continuing on with credibility and brand development.

2) Memorial Day is Monday.  This means Cold Brew is going to be HOT and that there is a shipping holiday.   While we will be processing and roasting orders on Monday, they will not ship, so expect an extra fulfillment day.

Fulfillment times remain really fast at 1-3 business days and this will be true next week but do remember that Friday to Tuesday is 1 business day.

Coffee of the month for June:

Kenya AA

Region: Embu

Varieties: SL 28, SL34, Ruiru 11

Altitude: 1500-2000 M

Soil: Red Volcanic

Grade: AA

Process:  Fully Washed and Sun Dried on Raised Beds

Cup Notes:  Bight Acidity, Smooth Body, Grapefruit, Orange, Blackberry, Raspberry and Honey

The Embu area farms are small family owned plots that work together in cooperatives to harvest, mill and sell their coffee.

Most family farms are 1-2 HA in size.

 

Supply Chain Update.

All coffee and bags are in stock.   Single serve cups continue to be an issue 2 of our 3 suppliers are out of stock on lids, cups and boxes.  We have received our replacement black boxes and they are in use.  They are a slightly larger box but they are the only 100% recyclable box available.  Lids and cups are now in short supply and while have severe hundred thousand of each on order, we will have to use back up supplies until they arrive.

Sales continue to grow with SSS now +36.7% YTD.

We continue to get lots of requests for additional training so we will continue our mid-month sessions: June 14th @1:00 will be Improving Sales.  This is a group version of our 1:1 consulting program aimed at helping you identify your 160, learning how giving away $500 in coffee is more effective than $500 in Google ads and other ways to improve credibility and grow your brand's sales.  This is designed for those at 6months+ since launch but is suitable for all brands.  If you have questions you would like addressed, be sure to send them in early.

Don't forget that you can catch Bryan every Thursday from 1:00-2:00 for Q&A and anything you want to talk about.  Same invite as always and don't ever hesitate to send questions via email.
