February sales are a continuation of the high level seen through January. If you aren't seeing steady growth, it may be time to consider making some changes to what or how you are selling. Don't hesitate to ask if you need help.
The 2oz sample program is now in the app. The 2oz bulk sample program has been so successful that we have added it to the app. These are the individually custom labelled 2oz packs of roast to order coffee. Great for sales samples, for sale at in person events and many partners use them in VRBOs and simply as business cards. 2oz labels are now uploaded to the app, same requirements as all other labels except they are 600x900 pixels (2"x3") same compliance requirements as all other products. Upload the label, assign the sku and be sure to use the "UPDATE SKU" button to lock it in and trigger compliance review. All coffee products, all grind types are available - black bags only. Orders are then placed in the BULK order tab with MOQ of only 12units per SKU. These have proven to be the single best advertising tool for today's market. You can begin using this program now and on March 1, the manual process will be discontinued and all 2oz orders will only be available through the app.
This month's all partner meeting is on 2/29 9:00-10:15. It will be a bit longer than usual to allow time for discussion about how TCR selects coffee, creates the roast profile and roasts coffee. We will do some live sample roasting and demo of what the roast process entails. Buyers are demanding well educated sellers and being able to discuss this part of the process is imperative.
Regular Thursday Q&A ZOOM this week. NO MEETINGS ON 2/22

Galo and Maria Alexandra, the exporters of this microlot, manage their own Finca Cruz Loma, a 350-hectare plot in the community of San José de Minas, a small town in the northwestern part of Pichincha, a short trip north of Quito. The estate has been in Galo’s family going back 80 years. Galo’s experience in coffee began 20 years ago working alongside his mother on the farm; he would go on to work professionally in the coffee sector, for exporters and as a project manager, before returning to full-time farming. In Galo’s words, “cultivating my coffee is an activity that allows me to apply and develop the skills and habits I’ve learned over the years; it’s also an essential resource for my family, since my wife, my daughters, and myself are all involved with the production and marketing of our coffee. Everybody in the family has a critical role in the coffee’s success.” Galo’s experience in the value chain has positioned his family well to help create opportunities for other farms by representing their coffees, first to exporters and, more recently with an export license of their own.
