Monthly Training Meeting Reminder and Other October News.

We have received numerous inquiries as to the impact the dockworkers strike is having and will have on our businesses.  The current, best answer is "we can't be sure just yet other than to know that the longer it lasts, the larger the impact".  We will discuss this during next week's mid-month training meeting and will know more by then but for now, you can rest assured that we are always a quarter ahead on supplies, coffee and all inputs into your products.  We do expect that unless this resolves quickly that there will be disruptions - in the coffee world, it will mean higher prices on green coffee, bags and all other supplies - some simply due to East Coast roasters pulling stock from the West Coast.  Join us on Thursday at 2:30 Pacific as we discuss this and other important Holiday Season updates.

ZOOM TRAINING:  Thursday 10/10 @ 2:30

This month we are on the 2nd in the series :  Selling at Events and Farmers Markets.
Since this falls in October, we will modify this to Holiday Success: Selling at Events and Ways to Capture Holiday Sales.
We will also have a brief discussion regarding the supply side implications and what to expect as a result of the dockworkers strike and dramatic spike in green coffee prices.  Most importantly how to use our size and strategic planning advantage as those in your competitive set struggles.
Due to popular demand, we will once again be offering free/public site review - a short version of our fee for service program with recommendations and feedback based on best practice and what is working in today's market.  Send your Site URL if you would like to secure a spot on the list
...and of course Q&A - feel free to forward any pressing questions you have prior to the meeting to be sure they make the list.
The invite will go out to all active stores.
We hope to see you there!
