Tea is Live!

Happy August Drop Ship Partners!

Our beta testing of the Tea program was a success with great feedback.  If you want to sell it, send an email inquiry and we will forward the info.  Be sure to carefully follow the sheet as both ingredients and statement of identity are unique for each product.  We are very happy with the quality of the tea and feedback so far. Sold in 3oz size in compostable bags only.

Sales remain strong and while July is normally a slower month, SSS are up 39.1% YTD with many stores seeing comparable sales numbers to December 2022.  If your store is not seeing similar results, don't hesitate to ask for help.

August monthly training is "Getting Your Brand Ready to Launch". Even if you have been live for 12-18 months, the up to date marketing info may be valuable to you.  August 16th 1:00 Pacific time.

The UPS strike was averted.  We will continue to use FedEx for bulk shipments as well as pricing is very competitive.

We are continuing to evaluate the impact of the July 9 USPS shipping rate change and are anxiously awaiting the anticipated 2023 Holiday surge pricing.  As soon as we have the full results of this, we will be able to calculate the Q4 pricing for this year.  Be sure you are watching your competitive set and keep your prices in line.  While we are able to level out your costs, you should be following them up so that when our prices do increase, you will already have compensated to match what is happening in the industry.  We anticipate a 5.5-7% increase in shipping costs, inflation associated costs and labor costs look to be around +5.9-6.2%.  We will announce the final Q4 2023 pricing as soon as we have the USPS shipping rates.  Smaller roasters are already being impacted, so don't hesitate to follow them up.  If you need help evaluating your competitive set, let us know.  We are happy to help.

We will have a regular Thursday Q&A this week 1:00 Pacific.

Don't hesitate to email or join the ZOOM if you have any questions or need help!

Have a great week!
